The fear of pain
To feel the blade again the vain
The sounds of the scream
The taste of blood
To crave love
As I step back and see
How much love is all around me
The cry of help in the night
The rain of pain
The sadness of the soul
Will it ever be untold
My mind races
I want to look beyond the pain
I want to close my eyes
Hoping this is only a dream
Wanting silence in my mind
But tears fill my eyes
Holding you near
Holding your heart
Never wanting us to be a part
I call your name in the dark
But all I hear is silence
Then it goes dark
