The shadows fall across my face
As the tears stream down my cheeks
Its been months and I’m still not over you
I try and I try
Its not getting easier for me
I can’t tell you good by just yet
But I know your over me

Loving you was hard for me
But losing you is even harder
As the hours fade away
As the days go by
I start to lose pride in ever finding love
Finding my true love
Finding any love at all

So my eyes fill with tears

My hazel eyes where once happy and bright
Now they are grey

How could you say that about someone I love?
How could you not understand he means the world to me?

I can’t stop thinking about you

I can’t stop wanting to want you

I sit here and I wonder why

Why I'm crying inside

The pain that is real

Only wishing I could turn back the clock

Or stop the time that has passed

And go back to when I was thinking right

Maybe you would still be mine

Why Don't You Understand

Why don’t you understand?

Our love isn’t what it used to be.

I need to let you go to be me.

No matter how much I love you, it still doesn’t feel right to me.

I just want to run away, very far away.

To get away from all this confusion and pain!

That you bring me every day!

But I can’t go on this way.

I don’t want to see you cry.

I don’t want to feel sorry for you.

I don’t want you to lose control.

I can’t fight this anymore.

If only you could understand.

What I feel inside my heart.

 You would know it’s really not you.

But yet it’s the things you do.

I want to say it’s going to be alright.

I just wish you knew what I have gone through.

Maybe then you would understand me more.

But the memories are just too painful to bring up.

Stop And Dream

Don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t do
Stand up for yourself
You never know what you have if you don’t try
And if you try you won’t lose

Fight for what you feel is right
Not what other people feel is right
Don’t let people tell you who you have to be
Just be that person you want to be

Fight for the LGBT
And maybe other people will too
Don’t show fear
Cause then others will fear
You are your own leader
So lead your own fight
And people will follow in your foot steps
Raise the flag
And the flag will be raised

I am a lesbian
I am strong
You may think I am a freak
You may give me dirty looks
You may want to spit in my face
But I will never change
I am happy being the way I am

I stand up tall for what I believe in
I will fight till the end to love who I want to love
I am not ashamed that I love the same sex
We should not be out casts
We should not be treated unfairly

We are stronger then you know
We will win this fight
We should have the right to marry
We should have the right to fight for our country without being beat on
We carry the rainbow with pride

We are more human then you know
And its not a disease
When will people see
We will not make you gay
We will not make you a lesbian

I just want to live my life with out judgment
With out racism
I want to live it with pride
For all the LGBT people out there
